We are now officially ready to receive guests! In preparation for the Baker’s visit in February, and Scott and Kim’s in the end of March, I picked up a frame and mattress for the guest room. In fact, we have two guest rooms, each with its own advantages. The one currently with the double bed is directly across from the bathroom and has a computer line for those who wish to work on their holiday (but hopefully we will be fully wireless soon). The other room is nicer in my opinion. It’s a little larger and with better light and has bamboo growing by the window. The disadvantage is that the bathroom is across the hall, so there is less privacy. Moving the beds around is no problem, so it’s really your choice. For kids, there is the bottom bunk in Erik’s room or/and a single bed in the second guest room. Keeping checking the QANTAS web site (upper right) for airfare deals. The one with several stops seems like a good way to go.
