Last week, we experienced our first dust storm. While coming home from tennis, we noticed that it had become quite overcast, and we wondering if it would rain. However, on further observation we noticed the air seemed quite dry and the sky had a pink tinge to it. How odd! Only when I logged onto the Brisbane news, did I discover that it was a dust storm and closed all the windows. Unfortunately, it was a bit too late. A fine layer of dust had accumulated over everything in the house, so I was to spent the next few days sweeping, dusting and mopping.
