Wow, am I a lucky girl, two new bikes in less than six months! Well this bike isn't exactly new. It's a second hand Jamis Durango hardtail with disk brakes, which means it's a real mountain bike, unlike the animal welfare thriftstore disaster that I had been riding as my around town transport. It seriously got to the point that I was afraid to ride it more than a few kilometers from the house.
I still love my road bike, but it's not that practical for going to the pool or shopping since I wear clip in bike shoes and would worry about someone stealing it.
The big bonus is that I can ride the trails around Mount Coot-tha and now appreciate why Mark spends so much time there.
