Erik playing along the "shore"
In Erik’s estimation, yesterday, Wednesday in Australia, was possibly the best day since his arrival. We didn’t go poking around strange houses, didn’t do any price comparison shopping, and didn’t have any appointments other than catching the City Cat (cross-river ferry). Most of the day was spent at Streets Beach in the South Bank neighborhood. There is an enormous outdoor pool complete with beautiful sugary sand beaches, zero entry, low wooden bridges and rounded boulders along the “shore”. Erik spent hours swimming, building sand castles, and sailing his Playmobil Viking ship while we were able to relax in the spring sunshine.
Today, Thursday, we received confirmation that our lease on our house has gone through and if we had furniture we would have been able to sleep there tonight. IKEA here I come! We’ll take pictures of the house and post them tomorrow.
