After nearly two months with us here in Australia, my mom headed back home. Although we were sad to see her go, it's important that she begins rebuilding her life back in the Pacific Northwest.
The day before she left, we went to Roma Street Parklands, which has a wonderful botanic garden with all sorts of colorful subtropical flowers.
