Taking advantage of our last free Saturday before sailing season starts, we went for a hike up Mount Mitchell in Main Range National Park .
Erik's friend Stuart came along for the ten kilometer bush walk. He and Erik made it up and down no problem and enjoyed the views from the top. Recently, it's been quite warm (high 80's in winter!!), but since we got an early start and had a bit of cloud cover and shade, it wasn't too bad.
It's supposed to cool off back to 70F/20C, so hopefully we be able to get in a few more hikes this year.
