Mount Townsend

On Tuesday, Erik, my dad, Mark's dad and I climbed Mount Townsend in the Olympic Mountains. As shown by the early morning frost in the photo, the air was a bit cooler compared to Queensland. Erik made the 6-7 mile trip up to the summit and back no problem and even had energy for side rock climbing trips. We got lucky with the weather having clear views from Seattle to Victoria. Even though I enjoy living in Queensland, I think at heart I'm a Northwest girl.
