It was great to see friends and family back in Seattle, appologies to those we missed. Many thanks to all who welcomed us in their homes. We had wonderful time. Erik especially enjoyed playing with his cousins and sledding at Mount Baker. The remains of this year's record snowfall were still hanging on even in early July, so we were able to get a snow fix on this trip even though it was summer.
For our Australian friends, I've posted quite a few mountain and forest pictures in hopes that you will be inspired to come visit us once we return to the U.S. in 2009 (?) Although we love Australia, I do miss the cool blue grey green of the Pacific Northwest and family.
