View looking west from my Mom's house
After almost five years in Australia, we have moved back to the U.S. for good. Well, maybe not forever, but for the forseeable future. We have been enjoying the sea to snow geography that the Pacific Northwest has to offer, going to Grandma's house at the beach on Saturday and driving up to the snow in the mountains on Sunday. Erik and his cousin Laurel have been reconnecting and seem to enjoy each other's company as much as ever.
On the house hunting front, the situation hasn't been as promising. The offer we put on the house we really liked was rejected, so on Tuesday we are going out again with the real estate agent to look some more homes. Hopefully, we'll find something we that we like and can afford.
