Not to be left out of our Southern Hemisphere adventure, my sister Michelle has come for a short visit. Poor Lydia, Laurel and Jim had to stay home, so we'll try to take lots of pictures.
Luckily, Michelle took off on Wednesday, 12 hours before the London bombing scare and had no delays whatsoever. After we got back from the airport on Friday morning, we dropped Erik off at school and drove up to Mount Coot-tha to take in the view of the city, have lunch, and go for a short bush walk. That night we had some Australian friends over for pizza dinner, and Michelle set the record for staying awake the latest on her first night, 9:30 pm! Saturday, after Erik's soccer game, we headed up to Mooloolaba to visit Underwater World and hang out at the beach.
We are having a lazy morning today and catching up before heading off into the city. I'll try to post more frequently so the girls can see what mom is up to.

Hope Michelle's visit is as fun as ours was!!! The boys want to know what the weather is like in Brisbane in the "dead of winter"? Cheers,
